Looking Back - over 25 years in business!

The cabin needed a huge clean out from its resident raccoon family. We swept and aired it for days. My scrappy father fashioned a chandelier from fairy lights to spruce the place up, and a banner at the end of our tree-lined driveway marked the way.

We are looking back, reminiscing about the journey we have been on for over 25 years.

These images are from our first open house, held in an old log cabin on the farm property we rented. We loved the juxtaposition of pioneer architecture and our modern design.

We exhibited our first furniture designs, some from our days as students at England’s Parnham College, some that we had created on our return to Canada. The More Nesting Tables are still in our collection after all these years.

Did any of you attend this event? It was in 1999…but I’m not aging us at all.
